September 29, 2006, Newsletter Issue #33: Big Help For Big Business

Tip of the Week

Look in the business section of any paper and you'll probably see at least one article on another merger or acquisition taking place. With more and more companies hitting the marketplace, competition is at a record high.

These new giant companies also employ a record number of people.  To keep employees happy, holding a board meeting with a Q&A session won't cut it. Instead companies will send out employee satisfaction surveys. Usually these questionnaires will hit on topics like: Insurance coverage Salaries Job safety Job training

If you are taking this type of survey remember to be honest as possible. Remember: you will be the one to benefit from the results in the end.
