		Tip of the Week One way that legitimate survey companies such as Ipsos ensure your safety is to send a confirmation e-mail after you sign up with them. This means that you will receive an e-mail stating that if you are the one who signed up with the company, you must follow a link to activate the account. If you did not sign up and someone had used your e-mail account without your knowledge, you can void the account by deleting the e-mail and never clicking the link. This ensures that the person who signed up for the account is the person using the e-mail address specified.
