Don't be confused by which types of surveys pay and which ones do not. There are surveys that you can complete, but you do not get paid. For instance, typically you will not be paid to complete household questionnaires. These are only used by the Web site to determine which survey invitations you should receive based on the demographic information you filled in. Additionally, some sites have free surveys that you can complete at any time on their Web site, but for which you do not get paid. Look to get paid only for those surveys you receive an e-mail invitation to complete. In the invitation it will specify what type of incentive is offered for completion of the survey. At that time, you get to choose to accept the invitation or not to complete the survey based on the offered incentive.
